Does the D40 slr was the most chippest SLR camera??
And is it good for the beginner??

Nothing other than a memory card and spare battery. Use it for a while and then figure out what you're missing for your style of photography. Feel free to discuss this further on the cameralabs forums...

What do you suggest I get when I buy my Nikon D40?

You can guarantee I will. Many thanks again!

You're very welcome! Please do join the cameralabs forums though and let us know what you think of the D40. Also check out our sister site dslrtips . com for advice on getting the most out of it!

Again many thanks for the review, I bought my D40 today and it was this review that showed me that the price isn't everything in a first DLSR. I can not put it down. Many thanks to camera labs.

No, the D90 is the only Nikon DSLR with video. The D40 doesn't have live view either. |
