Watch Hands-On Digital Camera Videos

The digital camera videos featured here should help answer many of your questions about digital cameras and help you choose the make and model that's right for you.

Although not all videos demonstrating digital cameras are created equally and you'll likely find some more beneficial than others, it's still extremely helpful watching a hands-on demo rather than simply reading a review.

Watching digital camera videos will give you a better understanding of the camera's looks, its size, main dials and buttons and other important features. Although the videos cover most major camera brands, new digital cameras hit the shelves so often that it's impossible to include all makes and models. To find specific videos, use the Search box (top left) or try one of the Video Tags on the left.

Homemade intervalometer for Nikon D70 (DSLR). Clouds in time-lapse test

Click the "watch in high quality" link below the video. ----------------------- ---------------- -------------- This is the first test of my new home made intervalometer for my Nikon D70. Made from an intervalometer connected to a Nikon Infrared remote control. Total cost £29.99, the D70 DSLR does not have the additional remote shutter release control that the D70S has so I came up with a cheap "almost off the shelf" solution to the problem. This will work on just about any camera that has a remote control not just the Nikon D70 ! Here are the details : http://www.timescapes.org/phpB... I shot this through my front window and did not clean the glass very well as you can see, this is just a test to prove my rig does actually work. The sequence is made from 784 photographs taken at 10 second intervals. At 0:52 the same sequence is played backwards. High Definition (1280x720) version : http://www.vimeo.com/1526367

Very beautiful yet so simple. Is that music Jean Michel Jarre? I am very interested in an intervalometer for my D70, how did you make your?
