Watch Hands-On Digital Camera Videos

The digital camera videos featured here should help answer many of your questions about digital cameras and help you choose the make and model that's right for you.

Although not all videos demonstrating digital cameras are created equally and you'll likely find some more beneficial than others, it's still extremely helpful watching a hands-on demo rather than simply reading a review.

Watching digital camera videos will give you a better understanding of the camera's looks, its size, main dials and buttons and other important features. Although the videos cover most major camera brands, new digital cameras hit the shelves so often that it's impossible to include all makes and models. To find specific videos, use the Search box (top left) or try one of the Video Tags on the left.

this is much better and more fun if you shoot tethered to a lap top then you can use the larger screen to focus and fire the shutter without shaking the camera!

You can take photos through a telescope, yes, but you don't have live view, so you'd need to focus through the viewfinder.

Can you do this with a Rebel XT?

AWESOME THANKS!! Exactly what I was looking for, just have to save more money now. Also thanks for all the excellent vids! cheers :D

There's something called a zigview which can clip to the viewfinder and basically films it for an LCD scren. It's not suitable for the astro work shown here though. But first, are you sure you've adjusted the viewfinder diopter dial for your eyes? Check your manual for details, and if you have any other Qs, feel free to post on the cameralabs forums!

I only have a 400d (digital rebel xti) but was wondering if you knew if there was any type of external LCD screen for it.... my eyes go all blurry after using the view finder its annoying.
