Watch Hands-On Digital Camera Videos

The digital camera videos featured here should help answer many of your questions about digital cameras and help you choose the make and model that's right for you.

Although not all videos demonstrating digital cameras are created equally and you'll likely find some more beneficial than others, it's still extremely helpful watching a hands-on demo rather than simply reading a review.

Watching digital camera videos will give you a better understanding of the camera's looks, its size, main dials and buttons and other important features. Although the videos cover most major camera brands, new digital cameras hit the shelves so often that it's impossible to include all makes and models. To find specific videos, use the Search box (top left) or try one of the Video Tags on the left.

I don't think you always need to have a zoom lens, in fact you don't. When I take photos of cars and they are sitting still parked, if I want a good effect I just take a photo and put the shutter speed a bit slower and turn up the exposure, as soon as I click the shutter I take a step back with out loosing my balance so the photo is level.

Nice demonstration! Thanks very much. Some of the boys have applied this great technique to gay-porn photography, and you were right, it makes boring old, super-common gay porn, ...extraordinary! Thanks!

Any zoom lens will work, you dont even have to own a nikon d300 it can be done on any camera with a zoom lens :)

Yes, I should have showed it that way, it is easier to do and gives a different effect. Thanks

Naah, drag the lens the opposite! Zoom in a bit, focus on the subject and while pressing the shutter button zoom OUT in stead of zooming in! Why: When you zoom out, the subject remains in focus, while the surroundings will have the same effect like they do on the example, only you have a MUCH bigger chance to have the subject nice and sharp Greetz, Thierry

Yes, a 18-200 will work fine for this effect

I have an 18-200 (kit lens), will it work? I'll try tomorrow.
