I disagree! I was looking at d40 and p80 the other day and I think the d40 takes pretty sucky pictures compared to the p80
its weird, I first wanted the d40
but when I saw the p80 and that it had video,
being a tipical youtube user, I HAD to get it because of its amazing video quality :}

The P80, hands down. I compared the pictures with a Nikon D40 and it's really close. obviously nothing matches DSLR quality, but this baby gets close at 64 ISO.
